exhibitor in focus
A new exhibitor, GasSuf 2021, has confirmed his participation in the exhibition.
At GasSuf 2021, you will have the opportunity to see KAMAZ series 54901, which operates in dual-fuel mode. The KAMAZ-54901 gas-diesel vehicle has become a continuation of the line of main-line tractors of the K5 generation. The new modification of the car uses a dual-fuel mode of operation of the engine on a mixture of diesel and compressed natural gas (CNG) in proportions of 60/40, respectively. This allows you to significantly save on diesel fuel when operating a car.
To date, two such vehicles have been assembled - one at the KAMAZ Scientific and Technical Center, the other at the main assembly line of the automobile plant. In terms of their technical characteristics, they do not differ from their diesel version, the only difference is in the fuel supply system. Subassembly of gas equipment takes place in the gas housing.
The use of a dual-fuel engine power system in cars will increase the economic effect of using the car: saving diesel fuel due to gas substitution will increase the range and reduce fuel costs due to the price difference between gas and diesel fuel. In addition, the use of a dual-fuel engine power system in cars will reduce environmental pollution due to the absence of the emission of solid particles during gas combustion. In addition, less deposition of combustion products on the piston group will increase the engine resource while maintaining all its power characteristics. When the gas supply is turned off, the KAMAZ-54901 vehicle fully retains its operability in diesel mode - the characteristics do not differ from conventional diesel analogues.
At the moment, the car has passed the Vehicle Type Approval (OTTS) certification. In the near future, one of the samples will be transferred to controlled operation to receive feedback on the operation of this version of the car. According to the production plan, the gas-diesel version of the KAMAZ-54901 mainline tractor should be put into serial production in August.
You will be able to see the entire range of NGV vehicles at the GasSuf 2021 exhibition from October 26 to 28 at the Crocus Expo.
