The Russian government has issued a decree that will increase the production of equipment using natural gas as a motor fuel, as well as stimulate the development of refueling infrastructure.
The document provides for the implementation in 2019 of at least 2,500 units of equipment using LPG/LNG, taking into account federal funding in the amount of 2.5 billion rubles as reports the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
As noted this will help update the parks of municipal vehicles with more environmentally friendly vehicles and will give an additional impetus to the development of the use of natural gas as a motor fuel.
Recall, since 2014, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia has been implementing a program to stimulate the purchase of gas-engine vehicles, thanks to which over 5 years sales of more than 14,000 cars have been subsidized.
As reported earlier by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, Alexander Morozov, stressing that Russian automakers have mastered the production of the entire range of vehicles running on compressed gas with a high level of localization, including through the program to stimulate demand implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
