GasSuf is a fast-growing event where producers and suppliers of liquefied natural gas and compressed natural gas equipment and refueling systems exhibit to present their products to car manufacturers, gas filling stations owners and installers, freight companies, components suppliers and other industry involved parties.

The exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

CNG / LPG market in Russia

1. The state level support contributes significantly to the development of the gas engine fuel market. ‘Development of the gas engine fuel market until 2024’ programme has been developed by the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Transport of Russia.

2. Based on the planned measures of the state support the volume of sales of natural gas as a motor fuel may increase from the current 600-700 million cubic meters up to 10.6 billion cubic meters including LNG - up to 5.2 billion cubic meters by 2030. The number of vehicles on gas engine fuel will increase by almost seven times up to 700 thousand units.

3. 40% of the world's methane reserves are concentrated in Russia. There are 170 thousand km of gas pipelines in the country thanks to which gas stations can be installed everywhere using the existing network.

4. The formation of a new market requires large-scale investments in infrastructure, new technologies in mechanical engineering, development of a new model range of equipment and organization of its mass production. 2 trillion rubles is the volume of investments required to implement the programme.
